Physical security
The data centre is manned 24/7, 365 days per year and footage from multiple CCTV cameras is recorded both on and off site. Access is granted to authorised personnelle by photo ID and electronic access cards.
We employ VESDA fire detection, coupled with a gas based fire supression system.

Power
Our racks are powered by a dual ring 4MVA power feed, with standby diesel generator and N+1 Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) on all systems. Dedicated server customers can access the APC power control system to remotely manage power to their machines.

Cooling
Server room temperature is maintained at 22 degrees celsius by a top of the range under-floor a/c system and additional N+1 a/c units.
Temperature is monitored 24 hour per day, 365 days per year.

Network
The network has been designed to give the fastest, most reliable and robust service possible. Utilising BGP over multiple uplinks and peering points allows our network to intelligently re-route traffic through alternative paths when problems occur.
Our IP backbone employs the fastest dark-fibre connections for single-hop connections to Europe and to the US.

Our web hosting systems utilise leading brand equipment, to reduce the mean time before failure (MTBF), minimising service interruptions.
